WHO WE ARE

The Refinery is one of Brisbane's Best Wedding Venues located in the heart of Newstead. Our team has years of hospitality and event experience and we pride ourselves on delivering industry-leading food with an impeccable standard of service.

We also work alongside our sister venue (literally right next door), Rogue Bistro, a relaxed, vibey degustation restaurant.

Across both venues we are a tight-knit team that hustles with the goal of being the best in everything we do, but most importantly maintaining a friendly work environment and a positive work culture.

THE ROLE

We are looking for a gun all-rounder for an immediate start to join our dream team predominantly at The Refinery as a F&B supervisor, with some crossover to service at Rogue Bistro. There are opportunities for part-time or full-time positions.

The role at The Refinery includes:

• Pre-service venue set up (including setting tables, furniture, bar areas)
• Completing end of night closing checklists
• Providing exceptional customer service to guests
• Floor service and basic bar service during weddings and events
• General supervision of floor & bar staff
• General support to the Event Coordinator / Event Manager

The role at Rogue Bistro includes:

• General waiting duties of food and beverage
• Providing exceptional customer service to guests
• Fulfilling the roles of section waiter, food runner and host
  

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Working days are Wednesday-Sunday (typically afternoon til late)
• Someone well-presented and personable
• Someone with hospitality experience keen to work in events
• Exceptional time management and communication skills
  

PAY & PERKS

• Full-time: $70k per annum + Super
• Part-time: Pro-rata basis, based on the full-time salary above
