Job Title: Junior Sales Development Representative (SDR)
Location: Darlinghurst, Sydney
Reports To: CEO and Lead Sales & Business Development Manager

Our mission is to help businesses in these sectors enhance their customer count and revenue. We are looking for a passionate and deal-oriented Junior Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our dynamic sales team and help us grow our Vendor base within these exciting industries.
Role Overview: As a Junior Sales Development Representative, you will play a vital role in expanding our Vendor base in the wellness and restaurant industries. Working under the guidance of the Lead Sales BDM, you will be responsible for curating lead lists, managing accounts, and developing relationships with current and potential clients. With a primary focus on enhancing our Best Wellness platform, this role will include researching new leads, formulating reach outs, follow ups and scheduling meetings with the goal to close a partnership deal.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation:
Curating and managing a list of potential leads within the wellness, restaurant and wineries sectors. Proactively engaging with leads to build long-lasting relationships and nurture new leads. Once a lead is obtained, there may be an expectation to meet face-to-face with these Sydney based Vendors. Travelling and visiting in person will be required in some instances. - Account Management:
This will include ongoing maintenance and communication where presented. - KPI Reporting:
Regularly report your performance and sales activities to the Lead Sales BDM, tracking progress against Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). - Relationship Building:
Initiate and maintain frequent communication with leads to convert the lead to a long-lasting Vendor. - Targeting Premium Venues:
Identify premium venues and strategically present our premium products to them, showcasing the benefits of being partnered with Best Gift Group to clients in the wellness and restaurant industries. - Sales Support:
Support the Lead Sales BDM in driving sales strategy, meeting revenue targets, and contributing to the overall success of the sales team.
Key Qualifications:
- Passion for the Restaurant & Wellness Industry:
A genuine interest and knowledge of premium venues in the wellness and restaurant sectors is essential for success in this role. - Attention to Detail:
Accuracy in handling leads (including follow up management), accounts, and reporting is crucial. - Effective Communication Skills:
Ability to communicate clearly, professionally, and persuasively with potential clients. Both written and verbal communication skills are important as we strive for premium Vendors for retention purposes. - Time Management & Organisation:
Ability to efficiently manage a variety of tasks, prioritise leads, and meet deadlines without compromising on quality. - Sales Background (Preferred):
Previous experience in sales or customer-facing roles is preferred, but a strong understanding of sales techniques and enthusiasm for the role is equally important as this role includes frequent communication via phone and email. If you have previous sales, hospitality management, account management or property management experience of 1-2 years this is preferred but not required.
