About the role

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join our dynamic team at Smartcomm P/L in Luscombe, QLD. As a full-time Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our busy distribution centre, ensuring efficient and effective warehouse management.

What you'll be doing

• Supervise and coordinate the work of warehouse staff, including forklift operators, pickers, and packers
• Monitor inventory levels and oversee the receiving, storage, and distribution of goods
• Implement and maintain warehouse policies and procedures to optimise productivity and efficiency
• Identify and resolve any issues or bottlenecks in the warehouse operations
• Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety regulations
• Provide training and development opportunities for warehouse team members
• Collaborate with other departments, such as production and customer service, to ensure smooth operations
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and reports

What we're looking for

• Prefer 2 years of experience in a supervisory role within a warehouse or distribution environment
• Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Proficient in the use of warehouse management systems and inventory control software
• Familiarity with workplace health and safety regulations and best practices
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities
