CMRKASPPD System focuses on customisation and adapting software for business needs, in various industries such as the mining industry, tradespeople, and the finance industry. We are looking for a professional software engineer locally in Australia to add to our team of experts to assist us to extend and integrate software into current business demands.

Duties and responsibilities

Based in Perth and offering a remuneration of $105,000, you will report to the IT Manager and play an important role in digitising the business processes of our clients such as flowcharts and diagrams through using algorithms to identify technology limitations or apply technological integrations. You will also assist in developing computer instructions for the team.

The main responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Identifying and creating software design suggestions
• Using engineering skills to identify and test algorithms
• Having expertise in different software development patterns
• Evaluating clients’ current systems, modifying and documenting them
• Reviewing regularly existing systems to identify gaps in the system design
• Knowledge of basic software code writing skills
• Providing advice and support in developing and extending existing software; regular communication with the software development team and management
• Evaluate financial costs of software design for clients

From the personal qualities:

• Strong analytical and reasoning skills with an ability to visualise the outcome; Proficiency in understanding complicated software apps and how to work with them
• Degree or higher in Information Technology or similar subjects
• At least three years of relevant work experience in the field of software engineering
• Outstanding communication skills
• Passionate about solving problems and finding workable solutions efficiently
• Knowledge of different data structure frameworks and algorithms
