Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive mental health assessments and interventions in remote clinics and community settings.
• Deliver mental health education and support to individuals, families, and communities.
• Manage acute and chronic mental health conditions.
• Collaborate with Aboriginal Health Workers, psychologists, and other allied health professionals.
• Provide crisis intervention and support.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Participate in community mental health initiatives and programs.

Essential Criteria:

• REC (Remote Emergency Care) (desirable)
• ALS (Advanced Life Support)
• NT iStat competency (desirable).

• Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
• Significant experience in mental health nursing.
• Experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities is highly desirable.
• Current certifications in:
• Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong cultural awareness and sensitivity.
