This role offers the opportunity to work with IBM products and cloud-based data governance tools while supporting business users across metadata management, data stewardship, and quality assurance.

About the Role
As a Data Administrator, you’ll work closely with Senior Data Analysts to implement and manage a Data Governance Solution. .

Open to candidates anywhere in Australia, but NV1 security clearance is required.

Benefits

• Day rate: $800 a day
• 12 Months contract with extensions

Key Responsibilities

• Automate data scanning and classification to maintain accurate metadata and data catalogues
• Implement data lineage tracking to ensure compliance and display data provenance
• Baseline and monitor data quality, identifying and resolving potential issues
• Maintain and control data access logs, ensuring security and compliance
• Support business users in metadata management, data stewardship, and data governance best practices

Skills & Experience Mandatory:

• 1+ years of experience in Data Governance
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience with IBM Knowledge Catalog (IKC)
• Cloud Pak for Data (CPD) administration
• NV1 security clearance (AGSV)

Preferred:

• Experience with IBM Manta Data Lineage
• Experience with IBM Data Product Hub
