About the role

Key Change Finance is seeking an experienced Banker or Commercial Broker with an extensive professional network who would like to move into brokerage and non-bank lending. As a Commercial Broker, you will play a crucial role in providing tailored financing solutions to our diverse commercial and residential client base.

In this full-time role, you will be responsible for sourcing and securing financing options for our business clients, helping them achieve their growth and investment objectives.

What you'll be doing

• Provide commercial lending solutions to a wide range of clients.
• Manage and grow a client portfolio via sourcing your own leads via your external networks.
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing commercial clients to understand their financial needs.
• Contribute to the growth of our brokerage through proactive relationship management and business development across commercial and residential lending.
• Identify and pursue new commercial and residential lending opportunities within your network and the broader market.
• Assess clients' financial situations and requirements to recommend appropriate commercial loan products.
• Prepare and submit detailed loan applications, supporting documentation, and financial analysis.
• Liaise with lenders, valuers, and other stakeholders to facilitate efficient loan processing and approvals.
• Provide exceptional customer service and guidance to clients throughout the loan application and settlement process.
• Stay up-to-date with changes in the commercial lending landscape and regulations.

What we're looking for

• Minimum 2 years' experience as a Commercial lender in the banking or financial services industry
• Proven track record in commercial or residential lending.
• Strong understanding of commercial lending products, including mortgages, business loans, and investment property financing.
• Strong network to leverage opportunities from.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients and finance providers
• Proven track record of sourcing and securing financing solutions for business clients.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills to assess client needs and propose tailored finance solutions
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve sales and customer satisfaction targets
