Pirtek is an international success story specialising in mobile "on site" service and replacement of hydraulic and industrial hoses. We are expanding due to continued positive growth and a philosophy based on service excellence and a proactive and planned business approach. We are seeking the appointment of a Mobile Service Technician for our Service and Supply Centre at Gunnedah.

As a Mobile Hose Technician, you will be expected to deliver consistent, accurate, high quality service to our customers. You will become a passionate and energetic team member with excellent skills in communication. The job will challenge you to provide solutions and build relationships with a varying range of customers. You will report to the Operations Manager.

Strong consideration will be given to applicants who show evidence of the following:

• Be able to operate machinery, use tools and measuring devices
• Have a strong understanding of customer service
• Good numeracy, verbal and written skills
• Have a strong work ethic and pride in workmanship
• Able to work in a team environment
• Priority to meet deadlines
• Ability to problem solve
• Understand WHS and Safe Work Practices
• Possess a current Manual Driver's Licence ( LR will be required at later date)
• Flexibility with working hours as after hours availability is a pre-requisite. (normally 1 week on call out of 4 weeks)
• A trade background with previous experience in fitting/mechanical and hydraulics is an advantage but not essential
• Must be willing to live in Gunnedah

A fully maintained service vehicle will be supplied, and the position comes with the opportunity to advance within the company.

Full product and job training will be provided.
