We are seeking an experienced and well-connected NDIS Business Development Manager to be responsible for clients acquisition, raising revenue and expanding business opportunities. The NDIS BDM will be responsible for sourcing new clients for Core supports, accommodation services and high-intensity support.
The Business Development Manager will drive the strategic growth of our Supported Independent Living (SIL) services by identifying new business opportunities, nurturing relationships with stakeholders, and ensuring alignment with NDIS standards and compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute business growth strategies aligned with company objectives in the SIL and NDIS sector.
- Identify and pursue new opportunities to expand services, including new regions and demographics.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with participants, families, support coordinators, and key stakeholders.
- Represent the company at NDIS networking events, conferences, and forums.
- Drive participant acquisition through targeted sales, marketing, and promotional strategies.
- Ensure all business activities comply with NDIS regulations and quality standards.
- Monitor market trends, provide business insights and reports to senior management.
- Collaborate with operations teams to ensure a smooth participant onboarding experience.
Essential Criteria
- Qualifications in Disability services, Aged care, Business Administration, Social Sciences, Health Management, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Extensive experience in business development or sales, ideally within the NDIS sector or a related service industry (e.g. healthcare, allied health, aged care services).
- Excellent communicator both verbally & in writing, demonstrating stakeholder management, active listening, probing and negotiation skills.
- Solid existing connections and networks with the required clientele and stakeholders, e.g. hospitals, accommodation providers, allied health, etc.
- Experience in previous roles that require income generation while meeting NDIS compliance requirements
- Experienced in achieving monthly customers acquisitions KPIs
- A comprehensive understanding of NDIS policies, guidelines, and funding models.
- High level relationship management skills

- Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed targets and drive business growth.
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skill to interpret market data, identify trends and develop actionable strategies.
- High level of organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Technical proficiency using CRMS Software, Microsoft Office Suite and Digital Marketing Tool.
