Electrical Power Systems Engineer

• $140k to $180k per annum including super

• Bachelor Electrical Engineering | Power Systems

Role Opportunity
As an Electrical Power Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for conceptual and detailed design, power system modelling and studies, and commissioning support for HV systems. This role offers hands-on involvement in site-based activities, working closely with clients to deliver high-quality, innovative solutions.

Essential Qualifications & Skills

• Degree in Electrical Engineering
• Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ) highly regarded
• Experience in power system analysis & design
• Knowledge of Australian Standards AS2067 & AS1768
• Proficiency in power system modelling tools (PTW, ETAP preferred)

Duties & Responsibilities

• Conduct power system modelling, studies & analysis
• Design HV systems from concept to detailed engineering
• Develop electrical protection & control schemes
• Provide commissioning support for electrical systems
• Collaborate with clients & stakeholders to deliver project outcomes
