We are in need of Systems Engineers with experience across test and integration, design, verification and validation and commissioning of military systems.
Canberra based full-time.

Engineers with a background in Safety, V&V, Project engineering and Systems are encouraged to apply.

Location: Canberra, ACT.

Potential Tasks:

• Provide specialist advice and guidance on the delivery of engineering tasks
• Design and develop military systems and equipment including testing, integration, installing and managing the systems and equipment
• Derive system requirements, define the test requirements and participate in system design and system requirements reviews
• Undertake functional analysis to identify the optimum solution against a set of requirements and develop system specifications
• Perform integration and validation of complex systems for military application
• Ensure all documents and artefacts generated are in accordance with appropriate standard procedures and work instructions
• Manage key commonwealth customers and stakeholders for engineering delivery
• Experience in design of communications and network systems for military application.

Skills/Experience:

• Bachelor of engineering or relevant tertiary qualifications
• Experience working to the Defence ONE capability
• Proven experience in development of SEMP (Systems Engineering Management Plans)
• Experience across the full systems engineering life-cycle
• Strong communications skills both written and oral
• A high level of self-motivation, time management and organisational ability
• Australian Citizenship essential; Minimum Baseline or above level clearance required.
