The Opportunity

Our client in the wealth industry is seeking an experienced Test Lead to join their Custody Transition Project team for an initial 6 month contract to ensure the successful testing for their Separation Program.

This role is SYDNEY based, only applicants based in Sydney will be considered at this time.

The Role

As a Test Lead you will oversee the end-to-end Business Process Catalogue, setting the foundation for Joint System Integration Testing (JSIT), Joint User Acceptance Testing (JUAT), and Joint Dress Rehearsals (JDRH). Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading the execution of test cycles with Business SMEs and manage issue tracking through Jira.
• Providing comprehensive test reporting for both OPFM and NAS, collaborating with business stakeholders.
• Supporting the Test Manager in planning, status tracking, and executing tactical testing solutions.
• Conducting walk-throughs of test results with Finance stakeholders, ensuring rigorous UAT and obtaining sign-offs.
• Engaging in post-implementation activities, including verification and warranty support, resolving issues, and mitigating risks.

About You

In order to be a successful applicant you will have extensive experience in large transition projects, ideally within the wealth industry (superannuation, investments, unit pricing). You will also have:

• Been involved in a custodian transition project as a Test Lead or Senior Test Analyst.
• Proficiency in Agile methodologies, Process Mapping, and tools like Visio.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to communicate clearly, both written and verbally.
• Comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders and capable of leading cross-functional collaboration.
• Resilient, adaptable, and ready to thrive in an evolving and challenging environment.
