ROLE DESCRIPTION

Our Store Managers collaborate with their Area Manager and team to enhance centre performance in accordance with our company values at StorHub Australia. This pivotal role includes; customer service, administration, operations, and people management, playing a crucial part in our business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and motivate a team of 1-2 Store Sales Assistants, setting clear expectations, providing ongoing support, and feedback to ensure team performance meets or exceeds targets.
  • Ensure consistent delivery of excellent customer service.
  • Oversee operational excellence, actively managing centre operations, including centre presentation, maintenance, general administration duties, security, access control, inventory management, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Provide weekly and monthly reports summarizing the centre's financial performance directly to the Area Manager.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive team culture that aligns with StorHub Australia's values, fostering teamwork, care, and excellence.

About You:

  • Demonstrate a minimum of 1 year of experience within a management or team leader position in a high-volume setting.
  • Possess strong conflict resolution skills and the ability to de-escalate situations.
  • Demonstrate a proven ability to work towards sales targets and KPIs.
  • Display effective communication skills and the ability to foster a team-building environment.
  • Possess a motivated, proactive, and positive outlook with a willingness to learn and grow with StorHub Australia.
  • Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Hold a valid driver’s license and own a car.
  • A forklift license is desirable but not essential; openness to learning to operate a forklift is essential.
  • Availability to work on a rotating roster, including every second Saturday
