Our client specialises in providing custom trailer solutions to the mining, construction and agricultural industries. Due to internal movements, they are currently seeking an experienced Accounts Receivables Officer to join their team.

Monday - Friday,
8:00am - 4:30pm
Temp to Permanent Opportunity
$35 - 40/hr + Super (Negotiable based on experience)

What will this role see you doing? This role will see you assisting the accounts department with high volume reconciliations. Duties will include:

• Ensure timely and accurate processing of incoming payments
• Prepare bank reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies promptly
• Proactively manage the recovery of overdue debts
• Reconcile accounts receivable with the general ledger to ensure accuracy, investigating discrepancies as needed
• Set up and maintain new client/customer accounts, conducting due diligence when necessary
• Build and maintain positive relationships with clients/customers to facilitate smooth payment processes
• Work closely with other departments to address client concerns and improve overall customer satisfaction
• Respond to inquiries from suppliers, customers, and staff.

What do you need to be successful for this role? To be suitable for this role, you will need to possess the following:

• Strong AR/credit and negotiation skills
• Experience in performing high volume reconciliations and problem solving
• Ability to hit the ground running and high attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work successfully within a team and autonomously
• Full working rights in Australia and ability to obtain a police clearance
