Essential Requirements:

• Registered Nurse with current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA);
• Demonstrated experience in residential aged care nursing with particular emphasis on clinical assessments, care planning, clinical documentation, and medications administration;
• Proven leadership ability;
• Demonstrated competencies in operational planning, management information systems and processes, clinical staff training and assessment;
• Ability to coordinate in a multi-skilled team environment and to communicate effectively with management, staff, and stakeholders, including medical and allied health professionals;
• Time management skills and an ability to logically prioritise varying work demands;
• Understanding of the ageing process and a commitment to advocate for older people in residential care;

Desirable:

• Relevant qualifications in gerontology, dementia, palliative care;
• Gerontological Nursing experience;
• Postgraduate certificate in a relevant clinical field.
• No registration notations, conditions, or reprimand
