Direct Personnel are on the hunt for multiple Production Workers and Factory Hands for immediate starts.

We have multiple clients across Newcastle & the Hunter looking to add committed Staff to their teams. The successful candidates will ideally have experience in the manufacturing industry, be great at multitasking and can be flexible and embrace any changes that arise.

Some duties include:

• Production and assembly of steel products
• Use of hand and power tools
• Measuring and cutting product to size
• Working on busy production lines
• Sorting through and bundling materials
• General labouring duties
• Manual handling
• General housekeeping duties

Requirements:

• Drivers license and reliable transport
• Physically fit as there is heavy lifting and manual handling involved with all roles
• Experience using hand and power tools
• Safety focussed attitude
• Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol test

The role:

• Casual on-going role with the opportunity of permanency for the right candidates
