About the role

Byron Aviation Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled General Hand / Factory Metal Worker to join our team at our manufacturing facility in Wetherill Park, NSW. This is a full-time position, offering a stable and rewarding career in the manufacturing and logistics industry.

What you'll be doing

• Perform a variety of general labouring and metal work tasks, including assembly, welding, fabrication, and machinery operation
• Operate a range of hand and power tools to complete production tasks
• Maintain a high level of safety and quality in all work undertaken
• Contribute to the efficient and effective operation of the production line
• Assist with the loading and unloading of materials and finished goods
• Collaborate with the wider production team to ensure timely and accurate completion of orders

What we're looking for

• Previous experience in a similar general hand or factory metal worker role
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Proficient in the use of hand and power tools commonly used in a manufacturing environment
• Commitment to workplace health and safety
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work to a high standard of quality
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Flexibility to work in a fast-paced, dynamic production environment
