About the role
This Senior Engineer position is responsible for the strategic planning, project management, and regulatory compliance of water and wastewater services.

Duties

• Manage strategic asset planning and risk mitigation for water and sewer infrastructure.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements (DPIE, EPA, NSW Health, NRAR).
• Oversee project and contract management for water and wastewater
• Monitor and report on project budgets and procurement.
• Lead and support staff development and performance.
• Ensure a strong WHS culture.

Skills & experience

• Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent, acceptable for membership of Engineers Australia.
• Extensive experience in water and wastewater engineering, project management, and regulatory compliance.
• Demonstrated knowledge of relevant legislation and industry best practices.
• Strong experience in project expenditure control, operational and capital works program development.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and report writing skills.
• Current Australian driver’s license and WHS Construction Induction (NSW White Card).
• Experience with regulatory reporting, and environmental licencing.
