About the role
MCJ Maintenance & Repairs Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Field Service Diesel Fitter to join our team in Brisbane.

This full-time role will involve maintaining, servicing and repairing a broad range of equipment, including earthmoving, trucks, mining, and civil machinery.

What you'll be doing

• Performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance & servicing on earthmoving equipment
• Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical & electrical issues to identify and resolve problems efficiently
• Maintaining detailed records of all service and repair work carried out on our system
• Breakdown Repairs: Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns, diagnose issues, and perform necessary repairs to minimize downtime
• Collaborating with the wider team to ensure the smooth operation of our business
• Adhere to all health, safety and environmental regulations

What we're looking for

• Relevant Trade Qualification
• Must have Australian working rights
• Minimum 2 years' experience working as a Heavy Diesel Fitter.
• Diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent mechanical aptitude and hands-on repair experience
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Demonstrated commitment to workplace health and safety
