About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team. In this role, you will oversee, deliver, and ensure high-quality high-intensity supports aligned with the NDIS Practice Standards. Your expertise will be pivotal in training, supervising, and mentoring our support staff, ensuring exceptional care and compliance with NDIS guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

Developing and managing individual healthcare plans for NDIS participants requiring high-intensity supports.

Providing supervision, training, and competency assessments for disability support staff.

Coordinating clinical care including medication management, complex wound care, catheter management, tracheostomy management, enteral feeding, and other high-intensity care tasks.

Ensuring robust clinical governance, accurate record keeping, and regulatory compliance.

Collaborating closely with participants, families, healthcare professionals, and stakeholders.

Essential Requirements:

Current AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse.

Experience in providing or supervising high-intensity supports as per NDIS guidelines.

Current First Aid and CPR certification.

Valid NDIS Worker Screening Clearance and Queensland Working with Children Check (Blue Card).

Knowledge and experience with NDIS Practice Standards and compliance.

Desirable:

Previous experience working in the disability sector.

Relevant postgraduate qualifications or certifications in high-intensity healthcare support.
