ICN NT is a local business committed to actively promoting local industry in major projects across the Northern Territory. We work with a variety of sectors including Government, Defence, Construction, Oil & Gas, Mining, and Renewables. We are seeking a Communications Advisor who is passionate about enhancing our brand presence and connecting with diverse stakeholders across the Territory.
We are excited to offer the Communications Advisor role. This position involves working within the ICN NT team to deliver high-quality communications and content across multiple platforms. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to promote our key messages and help drive engagement through various channels.
Responsibilities
- Promote ICN’s key messages through reports, presentations, client proposals, and media channels to clients, Board Directors, and external stakeholders.
- Develop and design proposals, presentations, and other communication materials using design tools like Canva or InDesign.
- Manage and deliver external communications, including social media content (LinkedIn), newsletters, and marketing campaigns.
- Work closely with the General Manager and CEO to implement stakeholder engagement strategies and monitor communications performance.
- Assist in the planning and delivery of industry events, ensuring content aligns with ICN’s strategic goals.
Skills and Experience
To be considered for this role, you will be able to address all or most of the following:
- Proven experience in communications, content creation, and stakeholder engagement.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages for different audiences.
- A proactive approach to enhancing brand visibility and engagement across various platforms.
- Strong attention to detail and copywriting ability to review and edit content for accuracy and consistency.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and experience managing campaigns and advertisements.
- Proficiency to use design software (e.g. Canva or InDesign) and content management tools.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
