About the role

Kingsford Lawyers' are seeking highly skilled and experienced Senior Lawyers to join our dynamic team both in our Queensland office located in Ashmore and our Melbourne office located in Spotswood.

The areas of law that we seek highly skilled Senior Lawyers are in Litigation, Commercial, Criminal (including domestic violence) and Family Law.

As a Senior Lawyer, you will play a crucial role in providing strategic and high-quality, legal services to our diverse client base. This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment with the room for growth and opportunities for partnership trajectory.

What you'll be doing

• Advising clients on a wide range of legal matters
• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex legal documents and agreements
• Providing expert legal guidance and support to the firm's partners and other team members
• Researching and analysing legal issues, and presenting solutions to clients
• Staying up-to-date with changes in relevant laws and regulations
• Mentoring and supervising junior lawyers and legal professionals
• Contributing to the firm's growth and strategic initiatives

What we're looking for

• 7+ years of post-qualification experience in a prominent law firm or in-house legal team
• Extensive experience in a broad range of legal practice areas, with a strong background in either commercial, litigation, criminal or family law
• Proven ability to provide pragmatic, high-quality, and commercially focused legal advice to clients
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues
• Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to mentor and supervise junior lawyers
• Commitment to staying up-to-date with legal developments and trends
