THE OPPORTUNITY
Salary: $66,921 - $72,661 per annum pro rata + 11.5% super + leave loading (dependent on qualifications and experience).
Time Fraction: Full Time, 1.0 EFT.
Location: Chadstone campus.
WWCC: Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining and maintaining an ‘employee’ Working with Children Check.
Police Check: Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining a Police Check.
Position Status: Fixed-term appointment for 6 months.
Holmesglen is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Officer to support the effective management of the Institute’s accounts receivable operations.
In this role, you will oversee and monitor debtor accounts, follow up on outstanding payments and maintain accurate financial records. Key responsibilities include performing daily bank reconciliations, processing invoices and preparing reports to support debt management decisions. You will also analyse and reconcile debtor accounts across systems and assist in identifying accounts to write-off.

ABOUT YOU
- Knowledge of accounts receivable processes and basic accounting concepts, particularly in a large organisational context.
- Previous experience in accounts receivable, including debt collection, bank reconciliations and invoice processing.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to use initiative and recommend solutions.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks and work both collaboratively within a team and independently to contribute to shared goals.
- Proficiency in MS Office and experience using database management systems (familiarity with TechOne and the Banner Student Management System is highly desirable).
- Certificate or Diploma in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or extensive relevant experience.
