Serrata Joinery is a Queensland based company servicing South-East QLD, providing a range of commercial and residential cabinetry and joinery services.

About the role:

As our team continues to grow, Serrata Joinery is now seeking a full-time Qualified Cabinet Maker to join our expanding team in our Kunda Park warehouse.

This role is based in the greater Sunshine Coast region, however, there may be a requirement for travel to other areas that we service within the state from time to time.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Selecting the appropriate materials, fittings, and tools for each task.
• Cutting resources down to size, as needed.
• Planning an effective approach to work to ensure that each project is completed on time.
• Gathering the elements of each cabinet and assembling the final product.
• Setting up and operating a variety of machines and using various hand tools to fabricate cabinetry.
• Installation of joinery.
• Participates in and demonstrates an understanding of safety principles and practices; follows all safety policies and procedures to support a safe working environment, including safe operation of machines and equipment.
• Proactively communicate job site conditions and concerns that may or are affecting the completion of the job to the appropriate person.

About You:

As the successful candidate, you will be able to demonstrate the following:

• Fully qualified Cabinet Maker (minimum requirement of Certificate III in Cabinet Making)
• Previous experience as a Cabinet Maker
• Own tools to complete tasks
• Ability to work individually and in a team environment
• Organisational and time management skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Extensive cabinet making knowledge
• Willingness to adopt current systems and actively participate in the continual growth of the business
