About the role

As the Workshop Manager at Eurocare, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the automotive workshop. Based in Burswood, WA, this is a full-time position that will see you lead a team of skilled technicians to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of high-quality vehicle servicing and repairs.

What you'll be doing

• Manage the workflow and prioritise tasks to maximise workshop productivity and efficiency
• Supervise and mentor the team of technicians, providing guidance and support to ensure work is completed to the highest standard
• Liaise with customers to understand their needs and provide timely updates on the status of their vehicle repairs
• Oversee the maintenance of workshop equipment and tools to maintain a safe and organised work environment
• Manage parts ordering and inventory to ensure the workshop is well-stocked and able to complete jobs in a timely manner
• Monitor and report on key performance indicators to identify opportunities for improvement
• Foster a positive and collaborative team culture that promotes continuous learning and development

What we're looking for

• Extensive experience (5+ years) as a Workshop Manager or in a similar leadership role within the automotive industry
• A hands on approach where you are happy to pitch in and undertake services where necessary
• Strong technical knowledge and understanding of automotive repair and maintenance procedures
• Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with customers and team members
• Proven track record of managing and developing high-performing teams
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to think strategically
• Proficient in using workshop management software and tools
• Relevant qualifications in automotive technology or a related field
