We are a rapidly growing 4WD Accessories business looking for an experienced Workshop Controller / Workshop Manager to join our team. Willingness to work Saturdays is a bonus, our Saturday hours are 8 am to 2 pm at 1.5x loading. We’re happy to negotiate salary based on experience. Key responsibilities will be:

• Solving any mechanical or electrical problem that any of the other technicians may have in the process of accessory fitment.
• Completing all warranty work.
• Assigning tasks to other technicians, ensuring that their tasks are completed on time and managing them to ensure that they are performing as efficiently as possible. Resolving any difficulties / disputes regarding their duties.
• Performing quality checks on all jobs that are completed to make sure the job has been completed correctly and to the highest possible standard.
• Making sure that all the cars move into the bays in the correct order so that work is completed as efficiently as possible and exceeding customer expectations. Liaising with front of house staff to make sure this happens.
• Making sure all parts are prepared for fitment the day before, and alerting front of house staff if stock is running low.
• Tracking the productivity of all other technicians.
• Answering technical questions that customers may have about products / fitment.
• Managing container unloading at our multiple warehouse locations. (Riverstone & South Windsor)
• Yourself providing 4hrs worth of productive output per weekday.
• To hit the ground running. All our major products have fitment videos and instructions. You will be expected to train yourself to a considerable extent.
