About the role

Deanes Coaches Group Pty Ltd is seeking experienced Bus Drivers and Coach Drivers with a Medium Rigid (MR) or Heavy Rigid (HR) licence to join our team in Fyshwick, ACT.

We have various exciting roles available;

• School Bus Driver (MR Licence) – 25-45 hours per week (school term)
• Coach Charter Driver (MR/HR Licence) – Full-Time position available
• Tour Coach Driver (HR Licence) - Full-Time position available

What you'll be doing

• Safely operate buses and coaches in accordance with traffic regulations and company policies
• Provide outstanding customer service to passengers
• Conduct pre and post departure vehicle inspections and complete required paperwork
• Adhere to scheduled routes, timetables and work instructions
• Assist with loading and unloading of passenger luggage as required
• Maintain cleanliness of the vehicle interior and exterior

What we're looking for

• A valid MR or HR driver's licence
• A valid Drivers Authority (NSW/ACT)
• Working with Children Check (NSW) or Working with Vulnerable People Card (ACT)
• Excellent driving skills and a proven safety record
• Strong customer service skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• The ability to work independently as well as part of a team
