Norman Carriers, a leading transport and warehousing business based in Laverton North, Victoria, is currently seeking skilled drivers to join our dedicated team.

As a key member of our team, you will bring your expertise in operating a heavy combination sideloader trailer with prime mover to transport general freight. Your comprehensive understanding of safe sideloader operation, load restraint guidelines and National Heavey Vehicle Law will ensure the safe and secure transportation of our clients' goods. An MSIC with wharf access is a must-have for this role, while a Dangerous Goods drivers licence, Reach Stacker High Risk Work Licence and multi combination drivers licence would be highly advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate Heavy Combination Trucks with Sideloader Trailers.
• Comply with all load restraint guidelines to secure freight.
• Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure the safe operation of the vehicles.
• Deliver and pick-up freight as per schedule, maintaining high levels of punctuality and efficiency.
• Comply with all company policies, as well as local and national transport laws and regulations.

Requirements:

• Valid Victorian Heavy Combination Truck driver's licence.
• MSIC with wharf access into VicT, Patricks, DPW and AAT.
• Proven experience with Sideloader trailers.
• Comprehensive understanding and adherence to National Heavy Vehicle Law.
• Excellent communication and time management skills.
• Dangerous Goods drivers licence (advantageous).
• Reach Stacker high risk work licence (advantageous).
• MC Drivers Licence (advantageous).
