Role

In this role you will be responsible for helping to maintain the lawns and gardens of our clients. Candidates will hold the client in the highest regard with an impeccable attention to detail & work ethic to complete all works to the highest standard.

This is including but not limited to:

• Plant identification, care and use in the landscape
• Weed identification and control
• Pest and disease control
• Safe use of motorized equipment
• Hedge Trimming
• Mowing and edging skills
• Tree pruning skills
• An eye for detail
• Able to maintain a safe work environment
• Any and all other tasks related to high quality garden maintenance.

We are looking for candidates with a can-do attitude who are enthusiastic, passionate and motivated to work outdoors in most weather conditions.

Skills & Experience

The successful candidate will possess the following skills and experience:

- Minimum 1+ year experience in all areas of garden maintenance

- A qualification in Horticulture or Parks and Garden is preferred, but not essential

- General knowledge of plants and plant care

- Experience in the use of motorised gardening equipment

- An Active Listener, with excellent communication and time management skills

- A self-starter who can work well independently or in a team

- Physically fit and able to work outdoors

- Good computer skills (ability to utilise our online job management system)

A current driver’s license, current police check as well as a working with children card are mandatory requirements for this position.
