About the role

Or client is seeking a ready-made locksmith who loves being on the road, tackling new challenges every day, and working with a solid and supportive team. This is a full-time role and work is mostly in the north and west of Melbourne.

It is working Monday - Friday and there is optional OT if you would like. It is servicing commercial clients and no domestic call-outs and no automotive work.

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Hitting the road each day, working independently but staying connected to a strong support team.
• Installing, servicing, and repairing locks and other security tech.
• Providing emergency access services.
• Cutting keys, rekeying locks, and handling master key systems.
• Keeping detailed records in SimPRO (training provided if needed).
• Ensuring every job is done with precision, care, and professionalism.

Skills and Experience

• 3rd-year apprentices welcome to apply or a seasoned SCEC-approved locksmith.
• Experienced with traditional locks to electronic security (CCTV, access control, alarms)
• You manage your time well, take pride in your work, and can work solo or in a team.
• You know how to communicate with clients and deliver top-tier service.
• A valid driver's licence
• Attention to detail & problem-solving ability.
