Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Qualified Locksmith to join our team on a full-time basis. This role will involve not only providing expert locksmith services but also taking on more responsibilities in a management capacity. You will be instrumental in growing our business by actively seeking new clients, overseeing day-to-day operations, and helping drive the company forward.

What you'll be doing

• Providing a wide range of locksmith services, including lock installation, repair, and replacement
• Responding to emergency lockout calls and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
• Assisting customers with key duplication, safe opening, and other locksmith-related tasks
• Maintaining and repairing various types of locks, including residential, commercial, and automotive
• Providing expert advice and guidance to customers on the most suitable security solutions for their needs
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation of all work carried out
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
• Assist with training and mentoring junior /apprentice locksmiths.
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of our locksmith services and processes

What we're looking for

• A recognised qualification in locksmithing or a related trade
• Extensive experience (minimum 3 years) as a qualified locksmith, preferably in a commercial or residential setting
• Excellent problem-solving and customer service skills, with strong communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently and accurately
• A clean and valid driver's licence, as well as a Private Security Licence
• A demonstrated commitment to safety and compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards
• A current police check and working with children check - or ability to get one completed prior to commencing
