About the role

We are seeking an experienced Lawyer (or reasonably experienced Lawyer) to join our team at Greenwich Legal on a casual/part-time, fully remote basis (with maybe some brief in-person training).

This is an excellent opportunity to contribute your legal expertise to a growing practice, whilst retaining independence.

You will work mostly independently but also closely with the firm's Principal Solicitor.

In effect, we are looking for someone with initiative, technical skills and leadership, who can effectively run their own show once being introduced to the firm's clients.

What you'll be doing

• Providing high-quality legal services to a diverse range of clients across a wide range of practice areas (experience especially in litigation is a big plus).
• Taking case ownership and dealing directly with the firm’s clients (either virtually or face to face at meetings with clients, as required).
• Handling cases from start to finish with strong technical expertise.
• Contributing to the firm's business development and marketing initiatives, where appropriate.

What we're looking for

• Minimum 3 years of post-admission experience in a law firm or in-house legal team.
• Proven track record of providing a range of legal services and achieving successful outcomes for clients.
• Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• A generalist and someone who likes a challenge to work across multiple different practice areas and not be tied down to one area of the law.
• Ideally someone with experience in litigation.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients and colleagues.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a small but dynamic team.
