VALVE FITTERS - Casual

We are currently seeking applications from highly skilled, and safety focused Valve Fitters to join our outages team across Queensland.

To be considered for a role it is ESSENTIAL that you have the following skills and experience:

• Australian recognised trade qualification – Fitter, Fitter & Turner, Fitter / Machinist
• Driver’s Licence
• Construction Induction Card
• Confined Space Statement of Attainment - current within 2 years
• Work at Heights Statement of Attainment - current within 2 years

Preferred skills and experience:

• Strip, assess and re-build, complete inspection reports for all types of valves (Ball, Globe, Gate, Check, Butterfly, Control, etc) in an onsite based environment.
• Fault finding and problem solving
• Compliance on all required company and client quality documentation
• Maintaining emphasis on safety and quality and the compliance to company and client polices
• Sound knowledge of flange assembly processes
• Ability to work as part of a team
