About the role

OnPoint plumbing and civil are seeking an experienced Plumbing Leading Hand to join our team in Adelaide, SA 5000. As a full-time Plumbing Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating the daily operations of our plumbing crews, ensuring the efficient and successful delivery of our plumbing services to our valued clients.

What you'll be doing

• Working closely under a supervisor and leading projects
• Supervising and directing a team of qualified plumbers to complete projects on time and to a high standard
• Coordinating the scheduling and assignment of plumbing tasks and projects
• Monitoring job progress and ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards
• Providing technical guidance and support to plumbers as needed
• Liaising with clients to address any concerns or issues that arise
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation of all plumbing work performed
• Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing efficient solutions
• Participating in the recruitment, training, and development of plumbing staff

What we're looking for

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a qualified plumber, with a strong background in plumbing supervision and project management
• Comprehensive knowledge of plumbing systems, regulations, and best practices
• Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and time management skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively lead and motivate a team
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications
• A current plumbing license and relevant qualifications
