About the role

As a Delivery Driver at Riverina Plaster Works Pty Ltd, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of products to our customers in Wagga Wagga and the surrounding area. This full-time role is an integral part of our operations, ensuring our customers receive their orders in a timely manner.

What you'll be doing

• Safely operate a company delivery vehicle to transport and deliver products to customer locations
• Manually load and unload delivery vehicles, ensuring products are secured and undamaged
• Provide excellent customer service and be the face of the company during deliveries
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures, delivery notes, and any issues encountered
• Assist with warehouse operations as needed, such as picking, packing, and inventory management
• Adhere to all relevant safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment

What we're looking for

• A valid driver's licence with a clean driving record, minimum Class MR
• Forklift licence desirable but not essential
• Experience in a similar delivery or logistics role, preferably within the construction industry
• Strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with customers
• Excellent time management and organisation skills to ensure on-time deliveries
• Physical fitness and the ability to lift and manoeuvre heavy items
• A team player with a positive attitude and the willingness to contribute to the overall success of the company
