Child Health Registered Nurse

Join our dedicated team at the Newman Clinic, providing family-centered, comprehensive child health services to remote communities. Working closely with Aboriginal children and their families, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on health and well-being outcomes within the community.

On a day to day basis you will be responsible for:

• Provide clinical services, education, and support to clients.
• Monitor child development and refer to specialists as needed.
• Working in conjunction with nurse immuniser and promote childhood health.
• Collaborate with other health services and participate in program planning and management.
• Maintain accurate health data and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.

The Successful Candidate:

• Post graduate certificate in Child Health (or workign towards) - essential
• Current AHPRA Registration
• Current Drivers Licence
• Experience working in regional and remote areas favourable
