About the Role
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Assistant Team Leader to join our Commercial/Reservations branch and help us continue to set the standard for customer excellence. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who excels in a customer-focused environment and has a proven track record of delivering outstanding information services.
As an Assistant Team Leader, you'll coordinate the daily operations of our Contact Centre and Ticketing Office team, ensuring we consistently meet and exceed industry-leading standards in ticket sales and passenger information. You’ll also work closely with the Team Leader and Contact Centre Administrator to maintain duty rosters for the team, ensuring that operational needs are met effectively.
Our ideal candidate will bring strong analytical and problem-solving skills, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions to enhance service delivery. Your outstanding organisational abilities will allow you to manage competing demands, prioritise tasks effectively, and meet critical deadlines. Additionally, your proficiency with computer systems and software will help you quickly adapt to new technologies, including in the delivery of effective training to the team.

About You!
To excel in this role, you should possess:
- Demonstrated experience in delivering effective information services in a frontline customer-focused environment.
- Demonstrated knowledge, understanding and commitment to customer service excellence.
- Demonstrated staff supervision skills, including the ability to motivate and support others, and facilitate staff training and development.
- Proven effective mediation and conflict resolution skills.

This is a permanent full-time opportunity available for an immediate start. Applicants assessed as suitable through this process may be used to fill similar vacancies both fixed term and permanent that may arise within the next 12 months.
