The University Club of Western Australia is offering a fantastic opportunity for an experienced banquet team leader to take on a new challenge.

POSITION

The University Club is located on the banks of the Swan River on the heritage-listed grounds of The University of Western Australia. The Club has over 5000 members and facilities include 16 state-of-the-art private function rooms, a fine dining restaurant and casual dining café.

This newly created role is a full time, hands-on position reporting to the Assistant Banquet Managers / Supervisor and offers the chance to work with a team of highly skilled professionals. This is a great opportunity for an experienced food and beverage operator to take the next step in their career, and move into a leadership role.

This position would suit a person who has had previous experience in a food and beverage environment as a team leader.

THE APPLICANT

The successful applicant must possess:

• Significant food and beverage experience,
• Previous team leader or similar experience,
• Customer focused with exceptional interpersonal skills,
• Interest in career growth into a supervisory role,
• Outstanding verbal communication skills,
• Ability to work independently and show initiative, and
• Willingness to work flexible hours.
