Pharmacist-in-Charge – Medicinal Cannabis Dispensary

Are you a passionate, dedicated, and experienced pharmacist with an interest in the rapidly growing medicinal cannabis industry? We are looking for a Pharmacist-in-Charge to lead our team at a state-of-the-art medicinal cannabis dispensary.

Location: St Kilda
Job Type: Full-Time NO LATE NIGHTS OR WEEKENDS

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operations of the dispensary to ensure compliance with all state and local regulations.
• Supervise and mentor pharmacy staff while providing excellent customer service.
• Dispense medicinal cannabis products, providing personalised counselling on dosage, effects, and usage.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure all documentation meets legal requirements.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop patient-specific treatment plans.
• Ensure the dispensary maintains high standards of cleanliness, safety, and professionalism.

Qualifications:

• Registered with AHPRA as a pharmacist
• Previous experience in a pharmacy, preferably with knowledge of medicinal cannabis products but not essential.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on patient care.
• Experience managing pharmacy teams (highly desired).
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage compliance requirements.
• Knowledge of the medicinal cannabis industry and its evolving regulations is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion in dealing with sensitive information.
