About the Role:

We’re on the hunt for a passionate, dedicated Clinical Supervisor to join our innovative team. Based at our newly built, state-of-the-art facilities in beautiful Dubbo, NSW (Wiradjuri Country), this part-time role (although fulltime may be considered for the right candidate!) will put you at the heart of developing and supporting a highly skilled clinical team, guiding and nurturing the next generation of healthcare professionals.

As our new Clinical Supervisor, you will:

  • Empower Your Colleagues: Lead clinical supervision and support for supervisees and clinical staff, ensuring high standards of practice and fostering growth at all levels.
  • Uplift Care Quality: Provide expert guidance to deliver safe, ethical, and top-tier clinical care in line with legal and industry standards.
  • Champion Learning: Oversee education and clinical supervision across Marathon Health, driving excellence in clinical practices and professional development.
  • Offer Expert Advice: Use your expertise to help others navigate AHPRA registration for psychologists or AASW accreditation for social workers, making a significant impact on their careers.
  • Shape the Future: Collaborate with program managers, clinical leads, and field supervisors to orient, train, and allocate cases for students and graduates.
  • Develop & Deliver Training: Create and deliver training that empowers supervisees and staff—ensuring they have the knowledge and skills to thrive.
  • Inspire Excellence: Promote a culture of exceptional service delivery, continuously improving practices to meet evolving community needs.
  • Support Ongoing Growth: Assist in the evaluation and development of innovative programs like headspace hapi, Core Connect, and SWConnect, contributing to impactful community services.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Social Workers: AASW accreditation (preferably Accredited Mental Health Social Worker or working towards it).
  • Psychologists: AHPRA registration, including Board Approved Supervisor status.
  • Qualifications: A relevant tertiary qualification and registration in your discipline:
  • Experience: At least 5 years in clinical mental health services with a demonstrated ability to provide supervision.
  • Skills: Comprehensive skills in mental health assessments, risk assessments, and applying best practice models of care.
  • Training and Development: The ability to design and deliver impactful, discipline-specific training for staff and supervisees.
  • Teamwork: The capacity to work within multidisciplinary teams and communicate effectively with internal and external service providers.
  • Time Management: Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise effectively.
