Join a National Food Distributor in Lytton, seeking both experienced and newly licensed Forklift Operators / Warehouse Pick Packers to join their growing team. Both Afternoon and Night Shifts are available to suit your lifestyle needs.

Available Positions:

• Multiple Afternoon shifts: Monday to Friday roster, starting at 3.00pm.
• Multiple Night Shifts: Sunday to Thursday roster, starting at 10.30pm.
• Warehouse Cleaner: Monday to Friday roster, 4.00am -12.00pm.

Forklift/ Pick Packer Key Duties:

• Forklift Operations: Efficiently load, unload, relocate, and stack products in the warehouse.
• Work Environment: Operate in dry food sections, chillers, and freezers (freezer gear supplied).
• Pick Packing: Ensure orders are accurately picked and packed with correct items and quantities.
• Equipment Checks: Conduct routine inspections on forklifts and report any issues.
• Organisation: Keep your workspace tidy while adhering to safety and hygiene standards.
• Inventory Management: Assist with stock control and inventory tasks.
• Team Collaboration: Work effectively with colleagues to maintain smooth operations.

Cleaner Role Key Duties:

• Prior cleaning experience not required, but need to be willing and dedicated to perform duties
• Will be trained to use a pallet jacks and EPJ's to pull out pallets to clean in behind them. No Forklift License needed.
• Use Ride on Sweeper/ scrubber to clean large floor areas.
• Dusting and wiping down surfaces, including shelves, walls, and equipment.
• Using appropriate cleaning agents and tools suitable for low-temperature environments.
• Emptying general waste bins (emptying into compactor) and cardboard recycling bins.
• Other relevant tasks as directed by the Shift Supervisor

Requirements:

• Forklift License: Valid and ready to use. Experienced and newly licensed operators are welcome to apply. (can train if you only just got your license). Cleaner position does not require a Forklift license.
• Warehouse Experience: Previous work in a warehouse is preferred. Experience in food distribution is a bonus, but not required-we will teach you!
• Physical Strength: Able to handle manual tasks and stay active throughout the day.
• Attention to Detail: Precise and careful with your work.
• Communication Skills: Work well with others and communicate clearly.
• Flexibility: Willing to work different shifts.
• Ability to pass a drug/alcohol test and pre-employment medical
