- Salary: $80,680 pa + super + 19-day month
- Location: Croydon, with travel across the Municipality
Maroondah City Council is seeking a person who enjoys the benefits of working in a multi-skilled, experienced, and professional compliance team.
The role requires high quality customer service skills and the ability to convey technical and complex information to assist road users to understand parking and other legislation.
As a Local Laws Officer, you will be responsible for monitoring parking offences to ensure parking turnover in Council’s Activity Centres and to preserve safety on Council’s road network to the benefit of all road users.
With qualifications in Statutory Compliance or the willingness to obtain relevant qualifications, you will be able to demonstrate experience in effective time management to handle and prioritise patrols, compliance activities and assigned duties.
Key to success will be strong written and verbal skills, and the ability to remain calm and objective in stressful situations.
A current Victorian driver’s license is essential.
This role may involve a spread of working hours, including the possibility of an occasional weekend shift.

Maroondah City Council was constituted as a new municipality on 15 December 1994. The City of Maroondah is made up of three wards, with each ward represented by three Councillors.
