About the Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Service Co-Ordinator to join us in making a difference in the lives of the staff, children, and families in our care. Working alongside a dedicated team of educators, you will be responsible for:

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the OSHC service, including planning, coordination, and delivery of activities that meet the developmental needs of children.
• Monitor and assess the service’s performance, implementing improvements as needed
• Leading and Encouraging creativity, innovation, and continuous improvement to ensure the ongoing enhancement of the service
• Understanding the needs of the children, families, and staff and building strong relationships with them and the school community
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and the National Quality Framework (NQF), including safety, policies, and procedures.
• Supervise, Mentor and develop a team of Educators to maintain high standards of care and educational practices
• Overseeing and evaluating the program and it’s implementation at the service
• Assisting with maintaining the required administrative records and ensuring compliance with both the regulatory standards and the policies & procedures of NWCC

About You
This role is part of the leadership team of NWCC. Success will require you to be able to demonstrate the following characteristics or achievements:

• Certificate IV in School Age Education and Care (or equivalent) or higher.
• Experience managing a large and diverse team
• You will be able to demonstrate strong leadership and development of staff skills
• Demonstrate a deep knowledge of childcare compliance and operations
• Experience in self assessment and Quality Improvement Process
• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
• The Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with all stakeholders
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• As a childcare professional, you will have a comprehensive knowledge of the National Quality Framework and ‘My Time, Our Place’
• You will hold current First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis management certificates
• You will have a current Working with Children Check
• You are able to demonstrate a commitment to the philosophy and values of NWCC

Some Details

• Permanent Full-Time position - 76 hours per fortnight
• Two ‘Staff Wellbeing Days’ available each year on top of accrued leave
• Once you've settled in, you will have the opportunity to complete part of your admin from home
• Uniforms and laundry allowance provided
