Meela Child Care Centre is a not for profit community-based Centre that focuses on our families, located in Mount Lawley. We are licensed for up to 55 children on a daily basis and cater for children aged from 6 weeks to 5 years.

This role is for 12 months of Parental Leave Cover, We offer flexibility for candidates to work full-time or part-time with a minimum of 30 hours per week.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Fundamental role in the design, implementation and evaluation of programs for children in collaboration with educators, which meet the Centre’s philosophy and policies, Government Regulations, EYLF and NQS.
• Collaborate with educators and assist with curriculum direction and guidance.
• Ensure the children’s learning and development are guided by the learning outcomes of the approved learning frameworks
• Collaborate with families in regards to the educational program
• A positive & passionate attitude towards Early Years Education
• Be able to work autonomously and think outside the box

Essential Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor of Education in Early Childhood Teaching or ACECQA-approved equivalent
• Current Teaching Registration
• Demonstrate extensive understanding and adherence to the EYLF and NQF
• First Aid Certificate (HLTAID004) and valid WWCC
• Full-time work rights in Australia
