Position Overview

We are seeking for a dynamic and results-driven Collections Manager who will be responsible for the end-to-end Arrears Enforcement Management of their assigned portfolio, taking direct ownership of arrears activity from commencement of enforcement through to remedy or realisation. Close collaboration with Management is required to manage stakeholder satisfaction levels and strive for continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and execute end to end arrears and enforcement matters within your own portfolio
• Analyse and monitor team performance, while providing training and mentorship as needed
• Assist in developing processes, policy and strategies to enhancing customer service
• Contact customers to resolve arrears promptly while generating and delivering ad hoc and regulatory communications via multiple communication platforms
• Conduct investigations and tracing on unresponsive borrowers
• Risk management through ensuring compliance to regulatory, policy, quality and operational standards
• Ensure credit and operational best practice is enforced within the team
• Provide ad-hoc general support as required

Ideally, we are looking for someone with:-

• Extensive enforcement experience within mortgage industry
• In-depth knowledge of Australian regulatory requirements, particularly NCCP compliance, ASIC/ACCC Collection Guidelines
• Ability to work unsupervised, self-motivated, and adapt to an agile environment
• Confidence in client management
• Quick learner, ability to work under stressful and agile environment
• Superior negotiation and communication skills
• Proven ability to consistently meet daily targets and deadlines
• Excellent attention to detail
