Part Time | South-east suburbs

The Organisation and the Role :

MP Recruitment is working with a renown Independent School located in the South- east suburbs of Melbourne.

The team is looking for an experienced Psychologist to work closely with students, parents, and staff to provide psychological support, assessments, and interventions that foster student well-being and academic success.

Previous experience working with School aged students is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide counselling and emotional support to students.
• Conduct psychological assessments and develop intervention plans.
• Collaborate with teachers and parents to support student learning and behaviour.
• Implement strategies to promote positive mental health and well-being.
• Support students with special educational needs and learning difficulties.

Requirements

• Registered psychologist with AHPRA.
• Previous experience working with school-aged students.
• Strong understanding of child and adolescent psychology.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a school environment.
