An exciting opportunity has arisen within a Major Australian Organisation for a Project Manager with expertise in cyber security, platform and operations, and network security. This role involves overseeing the decommissioning of a current solution while transitioning to a new technical security control. The successful candidate will navigate a challenging stakeholder environment, managing both international and domestic project components.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate resources for the successful delivery of a complex security-focused project.
• Manage project scope, risks, and timelines while ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Oversee the transition from one technical security control to another, ensuring minimal disruption.
• Engage with diverse stakeholders, including managing challenging relationships.
• Ensure compliance with security standards and best practices.
• Plan and manage project scope, presenting recommendations for any necessary changes.
• Facilitate knowledge sharing and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
• Align solutions with business drivers and maintain project direction.

What You’ll Bring:

• Tertiary qualification in Business or a related field (postgraduate qualifications preferred).
• 5 to 10 years’ experience managing projects in complex environments.
• Extensive experience as a Project Manager, particularly in cyber security and operations.
• Strong background in platform and network security projects.
• Proven ability to manage technical decommissioning and security transformations.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver projects on time and on budget.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, with experience handling difficult interactions.
