Are you an experienced Test Analyst seeking an opportunity to support high-impact digital transformation within the Commonwealth government?

Resolve Recruit is partnering with a leading Commonwealth Government agency to find a highly skilled Test Analyst.

Our client is at the forefront of government service delivery, supporting millions of Australians through world-class technology platforms and digital capabilities. This role offers the chance to contribute to ensuring the highest quality standards across critical ICT services.

As a Test Analyst, you will be responsible for executing test cases, developing test plans and analysing test results to ensure that ICT services meet the required quality standards. You will work closely with stakeholders and external vendors to ensure effective implementation of projects while contributing to test automation and process improvements. Additionally, you will provide guidance and training to less experienced testers, helping to build capability within the team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute test cases at various stages of testing.
• Analyse and report on test activities and results, documenting defects and escalating issues as required.
• Contribute to team improvement initiatives, including tool enhancements, process changes, and test automation.
• Conduct testing to ensure ICT services function as per requirements, including test data creation within external vendor environments.
• Provide assistance and training to less experienced testers, allocating work based on issue complexity and staff capability.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and external software vendors to ensure effective project implementation.

Key Experience and Skills:

• Demonstrated experience in developing test criteria, designing test cases and analysing results.
• Proven ability to provide guidance on methods and tools, tailoring processes to align with agreed standards.
• Experience in selecting appropriate testing approaches, developing test plans and implementing automated test frameworks.
• Capability to evaluate design options, test usability and accessibility, and analyse evaluation data.
