CQUniversity is seeking a passionate and experienced leader to guide our Student Advising team and shape the student experience. In this key role, you will lead a team of dedicated professionals, providing personalised guidance and support to students from enrolment through to graduation.
You will drive a proactive and student-centred approach, ensuring students have access to the right advice, services, and support to succeed. Your leadership will foster a culture of engagement, problem-solving, and collaboration – empowering both students and staff to achieve their best. Working closely with teams across the University, you will play a vital role in enhancing student retention and success.

Position Requirements
- Proven leadership experience in managing teams within a customer service environment.
- Relevant knowledge and understanding of the diversity of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures and demonstrated understanding of the importance of Indigenous participation and engagement in education.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a track record of successfully resolving complex client issues.
- Strong knowledge and proficiency in information systems and Microsoft software applications.
- Exceptional time management, organisational and problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- A relevant degree with subsequent experience in student support, or an equivalent combination of experience in a student-centred or related environment and/or training.
