The Role:

• Proactively seek out new business opportunities within the construction and building sector to drive revenue growth.
• Establish and nurture relationships with key industry stakeholders, including architects, contractors, and developers.
• Create and execute strategic sales plans aimed at achieving company goals within the building industry.
• Stay informed on market dynamics and industry developments to identify emerging trends and potential clients.
• Develop and present tailored proposals and product demonstrations to meet the specific needs of clients in the construction sector.
• Work closely with internal teams, including marketing and product development, to ensure offerings align with market demands and client requirements.
• Monitor and report on sales activities, including pipeline management, forecasting, and performance analysis.

Skills and experience needed

• Previous experience as an external sales representative – industry experience is not essential but advantageous.
• Strong business acumen and commercial understanding
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt and respond to client needs quickly.
• Willingness to travel and visit client sites as required to build relationships and understand customer needs.
• Self-motivated dynamic, and results-oriented individual
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build longstanding relationships, negotiate and influence.

Salary expectations:

• $95k - $115k + Super + Company Car + Bonus
